What is PAC?

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is a group of parents, by the parents and for the parents of CWEB - so to speak. Our charter says: Parents will be encouraged to form a Parent Advisory Council ("PAC") to be responsible for parent involvement in school activities and fundraising, and advising the CWCS Board of Directors on any and all matters related to the strengthening of the Charter School community. Parent participation will play a vital role in the effectiveness of our program.

Each of our network of schools has a PAC. We are a group of parents, Education Specialists and of course our Executive Director, Sherri Nelson, who meet informally (usually via a Zoom call, web chat, or in person) to discuss your needs.

So, why are we talking about your needs without your presence? Exactly our point! Come join us to discuss your needs, your thoughts, your frustrations and your thrills with educating through CWEB. All CWEB families are invited to join and tell us what you want more of, less of and done differently. PAC is not just about fundraising or committing yourself to endless work hours beyond your already full schedules. Rather, it is about alleviating those pain points that all homeschooling families feel. It’s about building community and relationships to help support the educational journey of homeschooling and have fun, engaging activities for our children together.

Fall 2021/2022 (dates TBD)

CWEB PAC Meetings are now in Google Meet: link on Parent Square.
